Hey there, lovely readers! Today, I'm super excited to dive into a creative and empowering topic: making your very own vision board. If you're like me, you've probably heard about vision boards from various self-help books, podcasts, or even your most inspirational friends. Well, guess what? They're not just a trendy fad – they're a powerful tool to help you manifest your dreams and goals into reality. So, grab your favourite magazines, scissors, a big board, or your In Charge App, because we're about to embark on a journey of visualisation and intention-setting.
Step One - Set your intentions
Before you start cutting out pictures and gluing them onto your board, take some time to reflect on your aspirations and goals. What do you want to achieve in the next few months or years? Whether it's career success, better health, fulfilling relationships, or travel adventures, be crystal clear about your intentions.
Step Two - Gather your materials
Now that you know what you're aiming for, let's gather the materials you'll need:
A large board: It can be a corkboard, poster board, or even a canvas – just make sure it's big enough to fit your dreams.
Magazines, newspapers, and printed images: Collect a variety of these that resonate with your goals. They could be pictures, quotes, or anything that visually represents your desires.
Your In Charge App: Choose your favourite theme colour and start adding photo's. An on-the-go vision board is the most important one so that you can always be reminded
Pinterest: Start gathering your favourite images from Pinterest and add them to your In Charge App.
Step Three - Visual hunt and gather
This step is where the magic happens! Sit down with your pile of magazines or Pinterest board and start flipping through them. When you come across images or words that align with your intentions, cut them out. It could be a picture of a dream destination, a quote that speaks to you, or even a symbol of success.
Step Four - Arrange and create
Once you've got a collection of images and words that make your heart sing, it's time to arrange them on your board. There's no right or wrong way to do this – just go with your intuition. You can organize them by category (e.g., career, travel, health) or create a more artistic collage-style arrangement.
Step Five - Glue it all down
When you're satisfied with the arrangement, glue each piece/enter each photo onto the board. As you do this, imagine yourself already living the life you've depicted. Feel the emotions associated with your achievements. This step is all about infusing your vision board with intention and energy.
Step Six - Find a prominent place
Your vision board should be somewhere you'll see it daily – it's your personal motivational art piece! Hang it in your bedroom, home office, or any space where you spend a lot of time. The goal is to keep your goals at the forefront of your mind.
Step Seven - Regularly engaged and update
Congratulations! You've created a visual representation of your dreams. But remember, a vision board isn't a one-time project. Engage with it regularly. Take a few moments each day to look at your board, visualise your success, and reaffirm your intentions. This is why we recommend entering your vision board into your In Charge App so that you can take it with you no matter where you are in the world or what you are doing. Having access to your dreams and goals easily is so important as a reminder of why you are doing what you are doing and as motivation. As you achieve goals or your desires evolve, don't hesitate to update your board with new images and aspirations.
And there you have it – your personal roadmap to manifestation! Remember, a vision board is a powerful tool, but it works best when combined with focused action and a positive mindset. So, keep believing in yourself, stay persistent, and watch as your dreams unfold before your eyes.
Happy manifesting, darlings! ✨🌟
